Herringbone…The Fish Bone Pattern

When it comes to the design of the backsplash in the kitchen area or the bathroom shower enclosure, home designers sometimes tend to go overboard with their creativity and generally land up with same old design or pattern with an extra cost to the project.

However, few of the home designers these days are much more aware of the latest trend and design patterns and use them to provide that extraordinary touch of excellence.

Herringbone pattern in one of those designs that are more in the styling façade these days. It’s a simple crisscross design pattern that resembles the bone structure of a fish. However, looks amazing to the eyes of the beholder with its uniqueness and outstanding appearance. The style gives an amazing finish to the whole kitchen or the shower area.

Due to the amazing pattern, home designers use the rectangular tiles to create this magical weave. Actually, in other words, it can be done only with the rectangular dimension tiles. Other dimensions will not fit to create this pattern. This magical weave can be done with any quality of tiles, weather its porcelain, ceramic, vinyl, marble or glass. The cost factor doesn’t shoot, as it is just the design that needs the change. The pricing of the quality of the tile may have a variance due to the personal choice aspect.
